'A Home Devoted to Personal Taste'
"It's like a gallery in the city center" was the couple's first impression of the house before moving in.
The wife, who formerly worked as an art curator, had a unique interest and sense for space design. She loved collecting and displaying aesthetically superior objects and artworks, and wanted the new space to have an overwhelming gallery-like mood.
For the couple, home was more than just a living space—it was 'a space enriched with art and rest.' They wanted to spend a peaceful daily life relaxing in a space filled with their tastes and inviting guests for conversations.
Acro Seoul Forest had all spaces coolly open, making it suitable for reflecting their tastes. They valued an elegant style that could reveal the true value of the artworks, securing space to display their art collection, and ensuring that furniture and accessories also matched the overall aesthetic tone.

Before
The living room at Acro Seoul Forest features an open structure with high ceilings and wide glass windows.
The client wanted the living room and dining area to flow naturally with a sophisticated and elegant French modern style.
In particular, this space was meant for sitting at the dining table with acquaintances, enjoying the view while conversing, and relaxing while appreciating artworks, so they wanted it to embody aesthetic beauty.

We removed the boundary between the living room and dining area, unifying them with French modern style. White was used as the main color to add strength to the sense of openness, with beige and black used as accents to complete a sophisticated atmosphere.
The main sofa placed in the center created an environment for conversation with comfortable chairs, and the dining table was arranged right in front of the wide windows.
We carefully selected furniture that emphasizes the aesthetic beauty of the space and harmonizes with the artworks. The impressive lighting in the living room provides a gallery-like grandeur, and the light makes the texture of the artworks stand out even more. Additionally, the dining pendant emphasizes the high ceiling and acts as a distinctive decorative effect.

The Cosmos pendant light, composed of round and flat pieces of different sizes, acts as an artwork-like focal point with its unique, eye-catching design even when turned off.

With a circular top and a solid cylindrical leg, it is an expandable table that easily extends from 4 to 8 people. Its urban style and sophisticated sensibility stand out.
