Design Story
The desk and low storage stay close to the perimeter so the center of the compact room remains open for movement.
Black furniture, cool lighting, pale walls, and a few precise objects create a focused atmosphere for concentrated work.

An Oval Rug Sets the Office Boundary
The striped oval rug gathers the white desk and task chair into a distinct work zone within the bright corner. Its soft outline offsets the desk's straight edges, while the grey bands absorb the long shadows cast by the windows.
Modular Storage with a Graphic Display
A chrome-framed cabinet combines closed white compartments with one open niche for a sculptural mobile. The mix of concealed function and deliberate display keeps the office ordered without flattening it into a purely utilitarian space.

Chrome Legs Lift the White Worktop
Polished cylindrical supports make the wide desk appear to float above the rug rather than occupy it as a heavy block. A small mobile pedestal handles storage at one end, leaving the central seating area open and flexible.
The Task Lamp Reaches into Daylight
A white articulated lamp extends across the desk in the same pale register as the wall and worktop. Red joints provide tiny points of definition, making the functional mechanism feel intentional against the sunlit window.

A Mobile Turns the Desk into a Still Life
The black tabletop mobile introduces movement through a few balanced circles and tapered planes, giving the pristine white desk a personal focal point. Its graphic silhouette plays against the ribbed radiator cover and tailored chair without stealing working space.
A White Console Holds the Quietest Objects
Pale storage recedes into the bright wall so a small lamp and selected objects can provide the detail. The restrained display gives the open living area a useful landing point without adding visual noise.
