Design Story
Tall windows and crisp wall paneling gave this Upper East Side living room an elegant architectural base. TIOR STUDIO kept that brightness intact, building the composition around an expansive ivory sectional and a saturated blue lounge chair.
Rounded tables, a slender arc lamp, and carefully placed reflective surfaces create rhythm without making the room feel formal. The result is polished, comfortable, and intentionally open.
A Saturated Counterpoint
The deep blue lounge chair brings a confident focal color into the otherwise pale room, balancing the long sectional without competing with the windows.
A Functional Color Note
A compact blue side cabinet repeats the accent color at the opposite edge of the seating zone and adds practical storage beside the sofa.
Height Without Weight
The arc lamp and framed artwork lift the composition vertically while their slender profiles preserve the open character of the wall.
Layered Occasional Tables
Two small tables in contrasting textures support the lounge chair and make the corner feel complete without narrowing circulation.
